A watercolour portrait painting of a white house with the perspective taken directly of the house front. It is often preferable to take the perspective at a slight angle to the house which sometimes gives a more interesting result but here that was not possible and the trees help to add depth and contrast to the classical façade of this house. OLD URL: http://www.portraits-online.com/art-blog/white-house-portrait-watercolour-painting I included this drawing example as a full body composition of a rearing horse. I don't often get the chance to draw full horse bodies, especially rearing horses. I think the problem is often trying to get good photos of full horses in motion. It's best to take loads of photos with a digital camera and then see if any are good enough to draw from.
